New Lunch Program

Dear Parent/Guardian:

Children need healthy meals to learn. Wellton Elementary School will be participating in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. As part of this program, Wellton Elementary School will offer healthy meals every school day at not cost to the students due to the implementation of the Community Eligibility Provision for school year 2019–2020. Students will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a household application. Please take a moment to read the following letters and  instructions for more information.

New Start and End Times

Wellton Elementary School will have new start and end times for the 2019–2020 school year. Please view our flyer to become familiar with the new schedule.

Summer Lunch Program

Wellton Elementary School is not participating in summer school this 2019 school year. The good news, however, is that the U.S. Department of Agriculture partners in your local community to serve free meals. It's food that's in, while school is out. There are no income requirements, and any child under age 18 may come to eat. For additional information about your local summer food sites, dates, and hours of participation, please view the summer lunch program flyer.
