Parents and Guardians,

As we are planning on opening school next week, we have had many questions regarding the rest of the school year.

When students return to campus, the school hours will be 7:45 – 3:25. Students will arrive, wash their hands, and then have breakfast in the classroom.

We are asking parents to make a decision between online learning and in-person instruction. The decision made will be for the rest of the school year.

After giving it much consideration, we will continue to have students wear solid colored polo shirts and uniform/jean pants or shorts. (No tears or holes.)

Students who are on campus will be taught by the teacher in the classroom. While the Chromebooks will be used, teaching will not be synchronous with the online learners.

Online learners will have a designated time with the online teacher. An online learner will be expected to attend all required Zoom meetings and to complete all work. If the Zoom meeting is not attended, they will be considered absent.

If an in-person student is absent, they may make up their work but they will NOT participate in the online learners’ session.

We will continue to take every precaution to ensure the safety of students and staff. All people who are on campus will wear a mask. We will continue to emphasize hand washing and will have hand sanitizer in all classrooms and by each building. We will continue to sanitize all buildings and equipment used.

All bus riders will be required to wear a mask and we will try to space bus riders out as much as possible. If your child is returning and will ride the bus, please notify the office so we can ensure they are on the bus route list.

We are very excited about resuming instruction on campus. We encourage all students to return to campus unless they have a health issue that would require them to stay home. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call the office or message us on ClassDojo.

We hope to see you next week!
